Hank Fore, Senior Vice President, California Region, West Division, Comcast Cable

Hank Fore joined Comcast in 2003.  He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Comcast’s California Region, West Division. In this role, he is the senior executive responsible for all Comcast cable operations in California.  He leads nearly 5,000 employees and serves more than two million customers, driving annual revenue of nearly $4 billion.

Prior to his current role Hank served as Regional Senior Vice President for Comcast Oregon Southwest Washington Region.  In Oregon, he led 2000 employees and served more than 600,000 customers, leading a number of operational improvements during his two-year leadership tenure.

Prior to his role in Oregon, Hank served as Comcast’s Area Vice President for Systems in Northern California and Dallas, Texas. In both roles, he accomplished a number of business turnarounds in financials, operations, employee relations and community service.

Prior to Comcast, he served as North America Regional Vice President at Lucent Technologies, Managing Director for International Network Services and Director of Information Technology and CIO at Times Mirror.

Hank had a distinguished career with the United States Armed Forces.  He held numerous positions achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army.  Hank retired after 20 years of service to enter the private sector. 

Fore earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the United States Military at West Point and a Masters of Computer Science from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California.

Hank has over 30 years of leadership experience running large organizations and all aspects of sales, marketing, operations and general management.  His passion is building culture and developing leaders.

Hank currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Bay Area Leadership Council (BAC), California Communications and Telecommunications Association (CCTA), and the Silicon Valley Leadership Group.  He also serves on Comcast’s Veteran’s Network Advisory Board.  Past boards include Big Brothers Big Sisters Northwest, United Negro College Fund, Legacy’s Randall Children’s Hospital, and Texas Communications and Telecommunications Association.

He has be recognized numerous times as "Top 100 Most Influential Minorities in Cable" by Cable World Magazine.  Additionally his organizations, under his leadership, have been recognized as "The Best Place to Work" in San Francisco, California and Portland, Oregon

Hank is a licensed pilot and enjoys fishing, skiing and backcountry camping.  He has traveled extensively abroad and has lived in Germany, South America, and the Republic of Korea.   He and his wife, Linda reside in the Pleasanton, California.
